Where Was I? I Forgot the Point That I Was Making

I’ve been trying to keep up with the continuous barrage of posts over at Ron Paul Forums regarding the AP story I referenced in my previous post. I really wonder if any of the folks over there don cheerleader outfits when promoting Ron Paul on the interwebs. Some of the posts lack any semblance of logic and are nothing more than sycophantic cheers from a mob giddy over their own perceived importance.

Any serious Ron Paul supporters should take articles like this a little more seriously. The lunatic fringe needs to take the nomination process a little more seriously. They need to convince people other than themselves to vote for RP in their primaries. It’s hard to convince sane people of much of anything when you’re wearing a foil hat or screaming like a drunk frat boy during rush week.

As much as I’m bummed about what I perceive to be the campaign’s dirty politics I still support Ron Paul. We won’t be going to the Tea Party this weekend. The same storm that’s keeping the blimp out of Boston will also keep us from making the trip. The forecast for our area on Sunday is currently 12 – 20 inches of snow. I’m not going to attempt to drive 200 miles in that kind of weather.
