This is what we saw walking out the front door this morning. We received another 14″ of fresh snow on top of the stuff already on the ground. I’m running out of places to push the snow piles with the plow.
I broke the plow yesterday. One of the welds on a hydraulic cylinder developed a crack and was spewing fluid all over the driveway like streaks of blood in a cheesy horror flick. Thankfully one of the car dealerships in Farmington is a stocking dealer for Fisher plows and parts. I was able to replace the cylinder and get it functional late this afternoon. Tomorrow will be a big day for moving snow. I’ll get the chains on the truck and try to make some room for more snow. There’s none in the current 10 day forecast but that could change.
We did head up to Sugarloaf this morning but ended up not skiing. The mountain was packed. We’re spoiled being locals. Skiing is no fun if you have to wait in line for ski lifts. We turned around and went home. We’ll try again in a couple days.
On a completely different note. The Land Cruiser cleared customs today. If we’re lucky it might be here by the end of next week.
