I’ve been lazy for about almost a year and haven’t updated this site much. I use Wordpress to run this site and I simply got tired of updating it constantly. We now have a client site that’s going to be using Wordpress so I figured now is a good time to finally upgrade and get back into the blogging scheme of things.
I’ve also been using Facebook quite extensively over the course of the past year to keep in touch with people. That’s been a pleasant distraction and kinda defeated at least some of the reason that I run this site. However, I’ve got Land Cruiser projects going on and this site is my place to blabber about them. So there will be updates. Very soon.

gday mate, good to see someone else running an old h engine…i have one running in a `73 FJ40 shorty, reliable, but starting to get a little tired…from the rattle at cold start up, i reckon i might have a piston (or two) that looks like yours…..:^( anyway i will watch your rebuild with interest…..cheers john.
ps…have you had problems with slow oil pressure build-up on cold start?
Yes, I did have problems with slow oil pressure buildup. The EDIC oil pressure shutdown feature would stop the engine. I disconnected the oil pressure sensor, no more problems
I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge so I’m not worried about the shutdown pressure sensor.
