I’m killin’ it at McCarran International. By 10:30 am I should be back in Portland and on my way home. It’s always nice to leave the glitz and psuedo-glam of this place in the desert and head back to reality.
This trip has been profitable though. The craps tables were nice to me on several occasions. I’m coming home with $1200 more than I left with and I spent some money while I was here too.
We got a bunch of stuff done on grandma’s place. It’s like a whole new house now. Most of it was done before I arrived so I wasn’t able to pitch in on any of the serious remodeling effort. I did important things like hook up the cable TV, install wall plates on the outlet covers, hang mini blinds and curtain rods, wash the exterior walls, etc. I cut my trip a couple of days short since there wasn’t much for me to do.
It’s nice to be going home. I have dead deer carcasses and septic blockage to look forward to later today. Yum.
