Yesterday’s storm dropped another six inches of snow before topping it all off with a half-inch of ice. I had to run the plow truck again today. That’s five times in the last week.
The fence around the dog pen behind the garage is six feet tall. That’s it sticking out above the snow in this picture. Does this put the amount of snow we have on the ground in perspective? One more storm and the dogs will be able to walk right over the top of the fence. I bet Philo could hop the fence with the snow we currently have. He just hasn’t figured that out yet. We’ll have to figure out some way to melt the snow so the dogs can’t get out.
February typically ranks third on the list of snowiest months. Both March and April typically bring more snow. I think we’re going to be skiing until the end of May this year.
