We camped for one night in the campground at Colorado National Monument. It was cold and it rained a while overnight. The Colorado National Monument is well worth a drive through if you’re traveling on Interstate 70. It’s not far off the highway and only takes about 40 minutes to complete the loop road. (Vehicles taller than 10′6″ can’t make it through the tunnels so watch out with your huge RV.)
The campgrounds are well maintained with running water in the bathrooms but no showers. There’s lots to do nearby with plenty of trails to hike.
